As part of our ongoing Eco Work across the school and nursery, all children participate in a range of environmental learning experiences to enhance our school grounds. All children in our nursery and school enjoy outdoor learning which takes place in a variety of areas such as our outdoor classroom pictured here.

The Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games will be one of the main contexts for learning and a real source of inspiration to our children in the coming year.
As an Eco School, we do a lot of work in the area of food and the environment. This year our SNaAG Citizenship Group will help our Early Level pupils to understand the importance of eating a variety of healthy foods. Our older pupils will learn all about food chains and the journeys our food makes from the source to consumer.
All children at St John Bosco Primary learn about the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child through a variety of relevant activities. Our children reguarly discuss how we can be responsible, caring and happy citizens.
