All children at St John Bosco Primary learn about the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child through a variety of relevant activities. Our children reguarly discuss how we can be responsible, caring and happy citizens.
We would like to thank all of the children, parents and staff who came along to our disco. The children very much enjoyed showing off their ‘creepy costumes’ as well as their dance moves.
Our Primary 7 pupils will continue to sell poppies next week – minimum 50p donation, please.
There will be two ‘crazy days’ for pupils in P1-7 on Friday 14 November and Friday 28 November 2014 in exchange for donations for the Christmas Fair. Pupils who would like to take part are asked to come to school with CRAZY HAIR on Friday 14 November in exchange for any bottle (sauce, wine, shampoo, lemonade, spirits etc).
Our annual Christmas Fair will be held in our school on Sunday 30th November. Please come along and support our school, this is a perfect time to do some Christmas shopping!
The Parent Council and Staff Team would like to thank all of the parents, staff, pupils and former pupils who gave up part of their weekend to bag pack in Morrisons, Erskine. This was a great team effort and we raised an amazing £1173.11. Thank you !!
CRAZY NON UNIFORM DAY will be held on Friday 28 November (for P1, P2, P3, P5, P7) in exchange for items of home baking (tablet, cupcakes, shortbread etc). All children in P1-7 are invited to come to school wearing crazy clothes – clothes that absolutely don’t match – a crazy combination! P4 and P6 are going to the Science Centre on Friday 28 November and MUST COME TO SCHOOL In FORMAL UNIFORM; the P4 and P6 Crazy Non Uniform Day will therefore be held on Thursday 27 November 2014, but we request that homebaking from these classes doesn’t come into school until Friday 28 November. Thank you for your continued efforts – we really appreciate your support with this. domain whois
Dear parents, please speak to your child about the ANTI BULLYING MESSAGE that IT IS NEVER OK TO BULLY OR HURT SOMEONE’S FEELINGS ON PURPOSE.
Unfortunately, lots of children get bullied, but very few admit to being bullies (possibly because they don’t realise they’re doing it.) Please talk to your child about this at home and reassure them that all instances of bullying will be dealt with immediately by staff, however, all children have the responsibility NOT to hurt others’ feelings using unkind words or actions. Thank you for your support.
